Chitwan Tigers made it four wins out of four matches in the ongoing Everest Premier League. Tigers registered a commanding five wicket win after the chasing the target of 109 runs in 17.2 overs. Afghan international Mohammad Shahzad led the chase with 35 runs whereas Bhim Sharki chipped in with 27 runs. Dilip Nath stayed unbeaten on 16 runs. Earlier, Lalitpur Patriots won the toss and elected to bat first. Player-of-the-match Kamal Singh Airee led the attack with a three-wicket haul. Likewise, Afghani Karim Janat and left-arm spinner Sagar Dhakal shared two wickets each. Shahab Alam chipped in with a wicket. Skipper Sompal Kami was wicket-less in his four overs conceding 24 runs off it. Tigers have ensured the top two finish after the group stage with a match in hand. The top two teams during this stage will play first qualifier match against each other. The winner will reach the final of the EPL whereas the loser team will get second opportunity to do the same with a match against the winner of eliminator played between third and fourth placed teams.
