Afghanistan international Karim Janat is set to play for Chitwan Tigers in the upcoming season of Bajaj Pulsar Everest Premier League. The 23-year-old is touted can hit 140 clicks with ball and come up with handy batting contributions in the lower middle order. The younger brother of Afghanistan skipper Asghar Afghan and played his first ever international match against UAE in 2016. It was a debut to remember as Karim bagged the Man of the Match award for his all-round contribution wherein he bagged three crucial wickets and played a handy knock down the order as Afghanistan managed to beat UAE in Dubai. The International Cricket Council (ICC) sanctioned EPL 2021 is all set to take place from September 25th to October 09th. The dates were approved by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and preparations are underway for Nepal’s biggest sporting event. “Karim (Janat) is going to be a key player for Afghanistan for years to come. A mature head despite being relatively young.
